Psychoanalysis

Freud's theory of the unconscious mind is what interested me the most. I had known a bit about the unconscious mind and for me as we discussed in class, the most interesting thing was children searching for their mothers and fathers in relationships and boys being jealous of their fathers. I remember reading that sons tend to get jealous of their fathers and mothers at a certain age, they get jealous of the relationship, wanting more love from their mothers, and also, getting jealous of not being the main male of the household. Having a wish to play the dominant role of the household.
