One manifesto that I would ascribe to would be that of the Karmaky movement. On their Facebook page, the Karmaky founders describe themselves as a “community of people, performing random acts of kindness and good deeds to enrich the lives of others and spread positive energy.” Although the Karmaky mission is not composed directly into a manifesto, it is obvious that their mission is to promote acts of charity as well as universal respect. In a video that they have posted on their website, they show Matt Pagan, an active participant in the Karmaky movement, handing out sandwiches and drinks to homeless and impoverished people around the Hermosa Beach area. This is just one example of the many actions they have taken to better the community. I agree with their encouragement of random acts of kindness – everyone is capable of doing some good and if everyone were to put in at least a small effort, the world would be a much better place.
